Shirley’s Ministry Update This is a season where I am privileged to be mentoring and encouraging leaders – including pastors, missionaries, entertainers, business entrepreneurs, and people in government service, in the USA and abroad. There is such a need today for encouragement, accountability, and wisdom for God’s leaders in all sectors of society. I am in my third decade of teaching and prophetic ministry at conferences, churches, and private meetings, as well as group and individual consultations. I am working on books and other materials in collaboration with my father, Pastor Mel Kunau, as well as my own material. Your prayers are much needed and greatly appreciated!!!

PERFECT
LOVE There is no greater living force in the earth than love, and no greater destructive force than fear. They are polar opposites. God IS unconditional love, and Satan rules with terror. Therefore, in our relationship with Him, and our relationships with each other, we must first RECEIVE God’s unconditional love, and ask Him to teach and help us to love others unconditionally. ANY time fear is a factor in a relationship, it is because the enemy is at work, and we need to receive more of God’s unconditional love in our lives. I John 4:7-8 – “Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and everyone that loves is born of God, and knows God. He that loves not knows not God; for God is love.” Note in verse 16 that it states AGAIN that “God is love”. Verses 18-19 are key: "There is no fear in love: but perfect love casts out fear: because fear has torment. He that fears is not made perfect in love. We love Him, because He first loved us". Conditional love causes us to FEAR disappointing the other person. Abusive relationships PLAY on fear, and use it as a tool to control the other person. A truly LOVING relationship is one without conditions – one that simply loves because LOVE is an END in itself. Romans 8 starts with "There is therefore now no condemnation . . ." and ends with "NOTHING can separate us from God's love". The key verse is 15: "For you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but you have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father". May we receive the PERFECT and UNCONDITIONAL love of our Heavenly Father, knowing, as He has promised us in I Corinthians 13:8, “Love never fails”.
