Shirley Bridwell is a minister’s daughter who has become an ordained minister. She spent her childhood in the farm fields of Japan, where her parents served as missionaries. As an adult, she has traveled extensively, and served as a missionary for 3 years in Moscow, Russia. This has given her a heart for the nations, and she is vitally concerned with evangelism, community outreach and political issues. Shirley has served as an associate pastor and church administrator for a large church, and travels as a Bible teacher throughout the USA and other nations. She has served as a Worship Pastor and Symposium faculty member, and has a strong heart for worship and personal devotion toward Christ. Her present ministry reaches into several areas of Christian life and service, having a special emphasis on teachings that motivate and encourage the body of Christ. Shirley’s most prayerful desire is summed up in Psalm 51:6 which states, “Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts; and in the hidden part You shall make me to know wisdom". "Faith comes by hearing" and hearing comes by the Word of God. FM radio is the technology of choice in the very poor areas of the Developing World. It is affordable to the people who can afford inexpensive FM receivers but who cannot afford televisions or internet access. The vision is to have Christian FM radio stations in all the major cities of the island of Madagascar. We also plan to put some FM radio stations in South Africa, Swaziland, Congo and Namibia. We have already installed our first Christian FM radio station in Antananarivo, Madagascar. This station reaches potentially almost 1.5 million people. After that we installed two stations in the Ensarebe area. We are busy looking at a fourth and fifth station in Madagascar.
